Alterac Worth is provided by Alterac Software. This Privacy Policy explains how Alterac Worth handles information when you use the app.

Information We Handle

Alterac Worth is designed as a local-first net worth tracking app. The net worth entries you create, including dates, notes, assets, and liabilities, are stored on your device.

The app may also store app preferences on your device, such as currency settings, notification preferences, premium access state, review prompt state, and achievement progress.

Analytics Alterac Worth uses Firebase Analytics to understand high-level app usage and whether ad-driven users are engaging with the app. Analytics events may include actions such as viewing the demo, importing data, creating or editing an entry, opening the Premium sheet, tapping a Premium button, and completing or cancelling a purchase. Analytics events are limited to privacy-safe product metadata, such as entry counts, source screen, demo mode, and StoreKit product identifiers. Alterac Worth does not send net worth values, asset values, liability values, account names, tag names, entry notes, goal amounts, imported/exported file contents, AI prompts, AI responses, or annual report contents to Firebase Analytics. Firebase Analytics may process app and device metadata according to Firebase and Google Analytics documentation, such as app instance identifiers, app version, device information, approximate location derived from network information, and purchase metadata reported through Apple StoreKit.

Information We Do Not Collect

Alterac Worth does not currently operate a backend service for syncing or storing your net worth entries. We do not collect, sell, rent, or share your net worth data.

We do not use your user-entered financial data for advertising or tracking.

Import and Export

If you import or export data, you choose the file and location through iOS file picker tools. Exported files may contain the net worth information you entered into the app. You are responsible for where you save or share exported files.

Notifications

If you enable notifications, Alterac Worth uses iOS notification permissions to schedule reminders. Notification preferences are stored on your device.

Purchases

If Alterac Worth offers paid features, purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Alterac Software does not receive your full payment card details from Apple. Purchase status and StoreKit product metadata may be used for analytics and premium access.

Feedback and Website Links

The app may link to Alterac Software websites for feedback, support, privacy, terms, or other information. If you visit those websites, information may be handled according to the website's own privacy practices.

Data Security

Alterac Worth relies on Apple's device security and iOS app sandboxing to help protect app data stored on your device. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, so you should protect your device, backups, and exported files.

Children's Privacy

Alterac Worth is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will update the effective date above.
